The incident took place around 2 a.m., Sunday, March 6, when Bridgeport Police responded to reports of a person shot at the Ten20 Club.
When officers arrived on the scene they found a 28-year-old Bronx man in the rear parking lot of the club suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, said Captain Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police.
"There were reports of an altercation in the parking lot prior to the victim being shot," Gilleran said.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he is listed in critical condition, Gilleran said.
Gilleran said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident.
